Too Faced Born This Way Foundation Review

Too Faced is one of my favorite makeup brands. They always have such cute packaging and so far I have loved all of their products. Their products are more expensive then something from E.L.F. or maybelline, but their products are really good quality and are usually worth the price.

I bought their new foundation shade called swan, it’s the lightest shade they have, and previously their lightest shade was called snow and it’s bit dark for my skin tone. I also bought the wrong shade of concealer, but it was the perfect shade for my mum, so it all worked out. if you are looking for a foundation with really good coverage this probably isn’t the foundation for you, but it does have buildable coverage. I don’t wear foundation very often and a big thing to me is not feeling like my makeup is caked on and I love this because I wasn’t thinking about it being on my face and at times I completely forgot I was wearing foundation.

As far as how well it holds up, it could be better. I only wear my makeup about 5 to 7 hours a day and I had to touch it up a few times. It definitely settles into the creases in your face. After wearing this foundation for a few days I figured out that putting on setting spray made it last twice as long. Obviously setting spray will help keep your makeup in place, but I’ve never had it make that big of a difference before. It was extremely easy to blend; I tried using a brush and a beauty blender and I preferred the beauty blender with this foundation.

I’m glad this one worked so well for you! It’s one that I’ve always wanted to try. I’m glad it didn’t cause you to break out because that is my main concern as well. Thanks for sharing 🙂
