It’s been really overcast where I live and so I decided to have a day in just relaxing. Anyone who knows me knows I’m terrible at relaxing. My normal state is tense and a little stressed. I have been working on this though and have been much calmer and happier. Taking time out for yourself is so important, especially if you’ve been really busy or stressed about something.
I spent my day doing things I enjoyed. I watched some youtube videos, went to the gym, took my dog on a long walk, and did a face mask. I also got to sit down and read some blogs, which is something I haven’t had time to do lately. I love reading peoples blogs and I want to make time to do that more often.
One thing I tend to do is schedule EVERYTHING. Planning exactly what time your going to relax doesn’t always work out, especially if your like me and plan a fifteen minute window to relax.
I basically spent the day doing things I normally don’t have time for. Honestly a lot of my day was spent in bed hiding from the cold and the world in general. I went to bed early and was so refreshed the next day, usually I’m tired and try putting off getting up as long as possible. I really love having days like this, it’s like a recharge for my brain.
