Easy DIY Christmas Gifts+Giveaway

Easy DIY Christmas Gifts+Giveaway

Their is a giveaway at the end of this post.

Buying Christmas gifts can be very expensive, so to save a bit of money I like to make some DIY gifts. I also really like how much you can personalize gifts when you make them yourself.

Paper Weights:

All you need for this one is rocks and paint. I couldn’t find any rocks that would work for this around where I live, so I bought some from Michael’s. You can be as creative as you want with these and personalize them for the person you’re giving them to. I’m using these as paperweights, so I just used acrylic paint; but if you’re going to use them outside make sure you use outdoor paint. I saw these painted rocks all over Pinterest a few weeks ago and thought they would make a cute small gift.

Spa Boxes:

I made three of these, one for my grandma, another for my grandma Linda, and the last one for my sister. They’re really simple and cute. I went to the store, picked out things they each like and placed the items in boxes. I had this Too Faced box and it ended up being the perfect size, but any box will work.

Movie Night:

I saw this idea on Pinterest and absolutely loved it! I picked random movies that I know my family loves, but I think using all Christmas movies, or all chick flicks would be really cute. I’m going to use this as a stocking stuffer, but I might give these to my family on Christmas Eve so we can watch some of the movies. I picked some snacks that I know each person likes and tied it all together with some string and a name tag.

Candy Wreath:

This one is super simple, pick out whatever candy the person your giving this to likes, and use hot glue to attach everything to a styrofoam ring. I used leftover halloween candy and bought peppermints to add a Christmas touch to it.

I decided to use the Reese’s as a bow and used the M&M’s to cover the wreath.

Candy Sleigh:

For this one you need hot glue, candy canes, string, and a Hershey’s chocolate bar(it doesn’t need to be a giant one, my store was out of the regular size ones):

I hot glued the candy canes to the bottom of the Hershey’s bar to make a sleigh and since it is for my brother I put some little things I got for him on top and used a piece of string to keep the gifts in place.
